Okay, Youtube has 3 videos up a.t.m. The first has a summoner, in which I didn't see any purpose of..watch the vid if you feel like it... The second, was poorly lit, and after squinting for 3min i said screw it!

Which leads me to video #3. Although this is not the setup we'll be taking (they have 6bst) please note carefully what the dragon is doing. Also, this is the only video they used Mismelt.

These are the attack/spells I saw Ouryo do. I may have missed some, so please watch and take notes!

Invincible, Horrid Roar, Wing Typhoon(aoe), Roar(paralyze aoe), Stoneskin, StoneagaII, Blind, Absolute Terror(terrorized)

Also, I do not believe we have to get the dragon to 0% HP to win. From what it looks like, it was arond 30%.

Take a look and lets start planning!

Not CoP related... ><; sorry about that
The next version update will feature adjustments to several jobs. Below is a description of the changes that will be made to the samurai job. In addition, the FINAL FANTASY XI development team plans to continue making adjustments in accordance with the announcements made at the Tokyo Game Show's Vanafesta 2006.

Adjustments to the Samurai Job

The samurai's job abilities and traits are often needed for specific situations, but tend not to stand out in experience-gaining parties. The next version update will address this issue as well as make the samurai a more viable support job for main jobs that utilize two-handed weapons.

[New Job Abilities]
Both an offensive and defensive job ability will be added. The casting intervals were made shorter than the durations so that players can use the abilities whenever they are needed. In addition, the abilities are learned at a level low enough to allow their use even when samurai is set as a support job.

· Hasso (Level 25; Recast: 1 minute; Duration: 5 minutes)
Grants a bonus to attack speed, accuracy, and Strength when using two-handed weapons.

· Seigan (Level 35; Recast: 1 minute; Duration: 5 minutes)
Grants a bonus to Third Eye when using two-handed weapons.

Seigan and Third Eye
While Seigan is in effect, the recast time for the Third Eye job ability will be decreased by half. In accordance, the duration for "Third Eye" will be adjusted.

Also, with the next version update, the player may counterattack or keep the effect of Third Eye when the player evades an attack using the Third Eye job ability. The chance that the player will keep the Third Eye effect even after evading will gradually decrease from the time the ability is used.

Points to Note:
- The effects of Hasso and Seigan do not overlap. If both abilities are used, only the most recently activated ability will take effect.
- Hasso and Seigan will only take effect when the player is equipped with a two-handed weapon.
- A penalty will be imposed on magic, song, and ninjutsu recast time while Hasso or Seigan is in effect.

[Changes to Existing Abilities]
The job trait Overwhelm will be adjusted to be more effective against high-level enemies, and the job trait Zanshin will be adjusted to increase the effectiveness of the job trait Ikishoten.

- The duration of the job ability Third Eye will be changed to 30 seconds.
- The job trait Zanshin will be acquired at level 20.
- Players will be able to use a merit point to increase weapon skill damage by 5% when the job trait Overwhelm is in effect.

As previously stated, the next version update will include several adjustments to other jobs as well.
Keep checking the main page for more information!

this makes me really want to play with SAM a bit more ^^

I also really liked this part.... The next version update will feature adjustments to several jobs.

Don't get me wrong, I like the Merit point stuff they added, but they were rather useless in fixing the "certain jobs never get invited" thing. *crosses fingers*

Question about Diabolos.

He uses a move called "Nightmare" that does an AoE sleep/bio move that somehow seems to work. o.O I don't know... I've tried that back when I got the sleep spell, figured out that doing that.. WAS F%#@ING IMPOSSIBLE!!!

So... Diabolos is a dirty dirty cheater.

Q: Can poison potions wake you back up or is this a "cast barsleepra and hope for the best" thing?

Help is here. (In the form of what may be an extremely long post... but still.)

First and foremost... Here is a link to the FAQ: http://www.livejournal.com/support/faq.bml

I found it extraordinarily helpful when I was new to livejournal. If you can't find what you need there, though... you can leave a comment here, and I'll see if I can answer your questions. (It's also a really good way to get your ?s answered, if someone else has already asked... or a reference for later, if you forget.)

OK... moving on... I'll post a few Q&A of my own... just basic beginner stuff, so everyone can get started.

Q: How did you get your journal to look like that?
A: After I logged in, I moused over the "Journal" tab below my user name... and selected the "Edit Journal Style" button. That popped me into a screen with four tabs on it... "basics" "Look and feel" "custom options" "advanced"... "basics" is just that.. what system you use, etc. "look and feel" changes your journal theme... mood icons... etc. "custom options" lets you tweak what you chose... for example, I chose "Flexible squares" as the theme for the linkshell journal... then I chose "Machine" as the basic colors for it... I then went into "custom options" and added a background image and changed a few colors to produce what you see when you go there now. (If you aren't sure what theme you will like... there are previews of each if you click on the samples link next to it.)

Q: How do I post to my journal?
A: The easiest way to do that is to click on the "Post" link... just under your user name, after you log in. (You can also click on the "My LJ" tab... and there will be a place for you to post there. And a "More Options" button to open a full screen for posting.)

Q: How do I post to the community?
A: Once you become a member, you go to the "Post" link... it will automatically post to your own journal by default. To change that... you will need to click on the "post to:" drop down below the posting screen and other options... and change it to "post to: d_perception" instead of your own journal. Once that is done, and you have typed out your post... just hit "update journal" and we can all see what you posted from our friends page.

Q: Where did you get all those icons?! O.o
A: I'm addicted to them... and have hundreds on my computer... lol. Plus, I made a few of Caly to use on my journal.

Q: How do I get icons?
A: You can either make your own... or find them on lj or the internet. lj has quite a few communities dedicated to making them. They must be 100x100 pixels, and there is a size limit... lj will tell you if it's too big when you upload them. You can also set one as your default, so that if you only have one... or want to use one... it will post with your default every time.

Q: How can I see what everyone posted?
A: If you joined the community... it's already on your friends list, and you simply click the friends tab to view what has been posted. ...If you would like to see what each of us has posted in our own journals, simply add each of us to your friends list, and once that person adds you back, you have complete access to their journals on your friends page too.

Q: How do I see what everyone is talking about?
A: After someone makes a post... and we all read it, if we have a comment, or something to add... or would like to confirm that we will be there... we click on the "leave a comment" link at the bottom of the post to reply... or see what someone else has replied, as well.

Q: How do I post ss in my journal or profile page?
A: You have to have a photobucket, myfilebin, or some other photo storage site account. Once you have that, it's easy as 1, 2, 3... You go to the url where that picture is... copy it... go back to your journal page, or edit profile page.. and type this: "img src=" (no quotation marks) and place it between < >, that's all there is to it... and your pic should be where you want it.

Q: How did you make our names bold and centered on your post?
A: I used html code...

Place these between < > or </ > in order to open and close:

b = bold
i = italic
u = underlined
center =

There are others too... here's the FAQ for it: http://www.livejournal.com/support/faqbrowse.bml?faqid=72

Q: Where'd you get the mood kitty?
A: Under "Journal"... "Edit Journal Style"... there will be a few tabs to choose from to customize your own personal journal... tabs are: "basics" "look and feel" "custom options" "advanced"... under "look and feel" you will see toward the bottom of the page "mood icons" ... click on the samples to see a preview of each.

Please leave a comment here if I have not answered your question... or if you have another I have not covered. And, I'll try my best to get it answered for you... whether I know it, or I find an FAQ to answer it for you.

Other than that... what does everyone think of the journal? I'd love to know what you think.

Just click the "leave a comment" link at the bottom of this post to let me know. ^^

See you in game.

Aurridaur, Tyrein, Zatthew, Kathira, Ehrrren and Calypsiana.

Welcome to our CoP static livejournal.

Hiya ^^

This was my idea.

Livejournal dedicated strictly for the purpose of organizing events... and communicating our needs, wants... and must haves.

Keep in mind... this is purely an *idea* at this point. If you all don't want to use this... that's perfectly ok with me.

I just figured with the limitations that the POL site had, this would be another good option for us.

Some things this has to offer that POL does not...

1) freedom to type out detailed, long posts... without having to restart a new window.

2) ability to post links... or separate posts with links to useful information... or your own journal... that can be tracked or added to memories.

3) a myriad of posting options... and user friendly interface.

4) *the* most helpful FAQ ever... to help you figure out how to navigate this thing. (Then, there is also me... I know this like the back of my hand practically.)

5) the ability to lock posts... so that no one else can see them other than the people in the community or on your friend's page.

Shall I go on?

If you are interested... all you need do, is start your own account. Upload some icons, customize your livejournal... and put a request in to join this community.

At which time, I will receive an email... approve you... and we are ready to roll.

So? What do you think?

(BTW... if we want to make it "official"... mamby actually has a linkshell named Depth Perception... I could hand out linkpearls to everyone for it... but, I don't feel that is necessary... just thought I would use the name for our group, though.)

Also... you can check out my livejournal here... http://calypsiana.livejournal.com/
